Arrumar as gavetas e estantes é uma boa desculpa para olhar para a minha Bdteca pessoal. Curioso como basta olhar para uma capa e recordo a história ou a época em que adquiri. Voltar a pensar numa dada citação ou uma sequência de imagens, por tocar numa determinada bd.

Ir para além dos trades colcoados na estante e remexer naquelas revistinhas de bd (da editora Abril) que, de certeza, também fizeram parte da vida de muitos leitores que por aqui passam. Superalmanaque marvel com duzentas e tal páginas, a mini-série Guerras Secretas ou alguns Hiper Disneys, publicações que provavelmente não voltarei a abrir mas que foram muito importantes para o interesse que hoje tenho por banda desenhada.

Um fim-de-semana em contacto com relíquias pessoais de BD que não podia deixar de referir aqui. Vou escolher uns quantos e falar deles no blog, fiquem atentos.

Alguém deixou o Jason Aaron escrever o Punisher com rédea solta. O que esperavam? Uma barbaridade de violência e acção, bem escrita. E é isso mesmo que temos. Comecei bem as leituras desta semana.

Neste número temos o Bullseye a fazer pontaria ao nosso louco amigo Frank... Não vai ser meigo.
Apesar de ainda não ter referenciado este título, tem sido uma boa leitura. O tipo de personagem que ganha em inserir-se na linha MAX da Marvel e poder ter linguagem e cenas apropriadas.

Os Eisner Awards são os "Óscares" da BD, o seu valor é simbólico. Como sou um tipo que gosta de ler BD acabo por ter favoritos, mas com perfeita consciência que os prémios não melhoram as obras que gostei (e o resultado dos Eisner Awards nada mudará para mim).

Comentário: Uma boa história, bem ilustrada e um exemplo de BD nacional de qualidade. Este segundo volume leva a história a um rumo que não esperava, explorando a comercialização da alma do Victor e a sua busca pela felicidade. Não quero contar pormenores da história, mas é uma leitura que recomendo. Assim que adquiri a minha cópia da fórmula li com grande satisfação.

Confesso a minha admiração pelo traço do Osvaldo e depois de ver estas belas páginas volto a destacá-lo.

A edição mostra que a Kingpin Books continua a investir na qualidade, algo que todos os apreciadores de BD agradecem.

"The Amazing Spider-Man 627" chamou-me à atenção esta semana:

- É escrito pelo Roger Stern
- Toca (de alguma forma) na mítica história Juggernaut Vs Homem-Aranha (um clássico do próprio Stern)

Para quem não sabe, muitas das histórias do Homem-Aranha que mais gostei foram escritas por este autor. Acho que ele sempre captou o essencial da personagem e construir histórias interessantes (como a saga do Hobgoblin original).


A história é contada de uma forma bem clássica e funciona muito bem. Aguardo a continuação para saber se fico mesmo com um sorriso na cara.

Pois é Roger Stern está de volta ao Homem-Aranha, por mais dois números ... :)
