Naoki Urasawa era um nome que não me dizia nada, uns sete dias atrás nunca associaria este nome a banda desenhada. Pior se olhasse para uma capa que tivesse este autor e ficasse pelo contacto superficial pensaria "Ah é mais um Manga" (isto por puro desconhecimento).

Comprei os volumes I de Monster e 20th Century Boys, destes falarei noutra altura, e os 2 volumes publicados do Pluto. Gostei tanto do Pluto que li o resto na net (aqui), em 3 dias li a série toda.

É uma história baseada no clássico "The Greatest Robot on Earth" (uma aventura do Astroboy), onde ao longo de 65 números somos conduzidos por um mundo onde máquinas e humanos se esforçam por coexistir. Ao contrário da obra original, esta é apontada para um público adulto, onde somos convidados a ficar curiosos, pensativos, surpreendidos e emocionados.

Uma delícia em termos de argumento e arte, que me vai obrigar a adquirir a obra completa em papel. CUIDADO É EXTREMAMENTE VICIANTE! Urasawa não me conhece, mas a partir de agora eu não ignoro mais a existência dele e do seu bom trabalho no ramo da banda desenhada.
